FILTERING BYPASS

FILTERING: ClearSail / Family.NET provides families and businesses the tools for a cleaner and safer Internet experience. ClearSail locates and blocks access to pornography and other dangerous subject matters daily. ClearSail utilizes a "server-based" filtering solution, eliminating your need of software and constant updating.

BYPASS: Parents and administrators may (optionally) bypass the filtering. There is no additional charge for this option. Parents have the flexibility to bypass the filtering while supervising their children in blocked sites such as chat-rooms, medical research, and other websites. The bypass is employed by a secret password, unique from your sign-on password. The bypass is programmable for up to one (1) hour, and then the system reverts back to filtering of the Internet. The bypass can be re-employed as many times as you require.

SECURITY: An automatic restore feature of the filtering bypass safeguards the system in case the bypass was forgotten to be reinstated. ClearSail's filtering solution is "SERVER BASED," which means that the filtering is performed at ClearSail's office, not from your computer. Therefore, there is no software that can be erased or circumvented, or that needs to be updated. The filtering bypass can ONLY be disabled with a secret password.

All requests for Internet websites are checked against ClearSail's ever-growing list of blocked sites. All requests for bypass passwords are verified with the owner of the ClearSail account, foiling any attempt by an unauthorized person attempting to obtain a bypass password.
